I’m Sarah — a Midwest-based photographer with a Bachelor’s degree in Photography and over 12 years behind the camera.

I photograph a little bit of everything- families, events, brands, headshots, schools, and the moments in between. I’ve never believed in boxing photography into one niche. People and stories don’t fit into neat categories, and honestly, no project ever feels “too niche” to me. If it matters to you, it matters to me.

My style is documentary at heart. I’m not here to turn your moments into a staged production- I’m here to notice them. I work quietly and intentionally, often more like a fly on the wall than a director, capturing the real interactions, the in-between expressions, and the small details you didn’t even realize were happening. I’m laid-back, easygoing, and I’ll absolutely do what it takes to get the shot- whether that means laying on the ground, climbing on furniture, or standing in questionable weather. My goal is simple: I want you to feel comfortable enough to forget the camera is there. That’s when the real photos happen.
