Hi! I’m Sarah, a Midwest-based photographer who believes the best photos happen when you forget the camera is there.

With over 19 years of experience, I photograph a little bit of everything- families and portraits, concerts and events, products or campaigns for businesses. I’ve never believed in boxing photography into one niche. People and stories don’t fit into neat categories. So whether it's a family reunion or product launch- if it matters to you, it matters to me.

As a portrait photographer, my style is document your moment. I’m not here to turn your memories into a staged production- I’m here to notice them.

I can work quietly and intentionally but if you prefer or need a little direction, I can guide you. Sometimes the camera can be intimidating and my job is to alleviate those pressures and be your most authentic self. 

 I’m laid-back and easy-going, so I’ll totally be the photographer to lay in a mud puddle to get the shot.
